Carminow Way
Newquay
We were appointed to carry out a full appraisal and redesign of this semi-detached home in Newquay, improving the internal layout while addressing elements of previous extension work that did not comply with Building Regulations.
At ground-floor level, internal walls were removed to create a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and snug area, with the existing first-floor kitchen relocated below. New bi-fold doors and an enlarged window improved the connection to the garden and introduced more natural light. The workshop at the rear of the garage was also converted into a home gym.
At first-floor level, the former kitchen became an additional bedroom, while the bathroom and adjoining store were reconfigured to create a larger family bathroom and improve access to the rear bedroom. The flat roof to the original side extension was also replaced with a pitched roof designed to complement the existing house.
Full planning approval was secured, followed by detailed Building Regulations drawings and specification.
