Portreath

A successful planning appeal and later extension project for a former holiday cottage in Portreath.

Following the refusal of an application to remove planning conditions attached to the original 2012 approval, we submitted an appeal on behalf of the applicant seeking unrestricted residential use of the property. The appeal was successful, and the change of use was approved in 2017.



We were subsequently reappointed to design a new first-floor and rear extension to the original single-storey dwelling. The proposals more than doubled the size of the property and secured planning approval in 2018, creating a significantly improved and more spacious permanent home.
